At Topsy, operated by Mileva LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe your biological data is your most private asset. Our platform is built on the principle of Data Sovereignty: you own your data, and we are merely the stewards of the insights derived from it.
1. Data Collection & Minimization
We adhere to the principle of Least Privilege, requesting only the specific biometric markers required for your longevity analysis.
Garmin Connect™ Data: Upon your explicit authorization via the Garmin OAuth 2.0 interface, we fetch specific historical and real-time metrics, including Heart Rate Variability (HRV), sleep architecture (Deep, REM, Light), and VO2 Max.
Environmental Data: We collect localized air quality (AQI) and light exposure data based on your provided location to contextualize your biometrics.
Restricted Data (What We Do Not Collect): We do not request, ingest, or store sensitive personal identifiers, GPS location history, or contact lists.
2. Use of Information
Your data is used exclusively to provide the Topsy service. We do not use Garmin Connect™ data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Synthesis: To calculate the Topsy Longevity Index.
Educational Insights: To provide suggestions based on significant biological deviations.
Baseline Establishment: To establish a high-fidelity map of your long-term health trajectory.
3. Data Sovereignty & Security
Zero-Monetization: We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your biological data with third-party data brokers or advertisers.
Technical Safeguards: All data is protected with enterprise-grade encryption (AES-256) during transit and at rest within the Topsy Secure Database.
Access Control: Access to raw API data is strictly limited to the automated Topsy algorithmic engine.
4. User Control & Data Retention
Revocation: You may disconnect your Garmin Connect™ account at any time through the Topsy settings or via your Garmin Connect™ profile.
Deletion: Upon account termination or written request, we will permanently purge your biological record from our secure database within 30 days.
Retention: We only retain data for as long as your account remains active to provide longitudinal analysis.
